Hi Michaela here, just wanted to say that I cannot believe how long it's been since I was last here!!! Currently going into yr11!!! at Carmel and I must say that in a way it's amazing and I'm having so much fun there but I will never have as much fun at a school than I did at Heighington. I miss all the teaching staff (whether they'll remember me or not) and I'd like to say that no matter where I am or what I do...Heighington will always, ALWAYS remain the best school that I've ever been to.

Hi, just been looking at the website, wow hasn't time gone by!!!!! I am know in year 10 and sitting my GCSE's in a few days.I took Performing Arts and Geography, everything is going great. Glad to see that the school is all well.

Hello Heighington school, i miss the easy homework! I wish i could go back for a week to see my favourite teachers. Hummersknott is huge compared to heighington but is still (supposedly) like a family unit. I am in year 8 now can't wait until year 9 not long, i think there is only 2 and a half months to go!

I would like to say thank you soo much for letting me do my work experience there...i really enjoyed it and loved seeing everyone i knew plus it gave me a great experience of teaching !!!

just happy to see the school hasen't changed brilliant teachers and staff in general good memory's and very good education are given i just want to encourage mr. Parker to keep the level up because it realy is the best primary school i have seen in all the places i have travelled to in europe. Promices a better future for its students who will probably access to university mor easely. Thank you (mr Coats is great!)

Hi, i just thought i would have a look at the website as i was thinking about Heightington the other day.Everything still looks amazing and everyone looks so happy! I'm missing you all so much, but I have to admit Carmel is brilliant but still not as good as Heighington. I have made so many friends including my new best friend who only lives in Aycliffe Villiage called Louise. I'm now playing netball for the darlington team 'Dj Sattelites' and representing Bishop Aukland for swimming.

Hello My name is Corin and I go the Candles club before and after school and it will be wonderful if you could go there! I think this because in the holidays you can go to the sea side,watch a movie, scuba diving, a trip to the farm, make pizzas and even go to the forbidden corner and enjoy lots of activities thats children of all ages can appriciate!!!!

Heighington has a cool website - I wish I never had to go to Hummy so that I could stay at there forever with everyone I'm so familiar with... GOODBYE ALL! I'm taking ma leave!

Wonderful to see Heighington CoE primary school doing so well. As an alumni for 20 years now, it is great to see Mr Coates and Mrs Caldwell still tolerating and refining the local children. Would love to visit on my next trip back home.

Amy and Jonathan loved this school, then we moved to New Zealand and found it strange to have the headmaster not know thier names-Mr Parker always greeted his pupils by name. Both students doing very well-Amy now at University...Jonathan in 6th form...How time flies. Go well Heighington.

I miss heighington School so much but still lovin every second of polam doing my gsce's i cannot believe it has been nearly 4 years since i woz a former pupil .. I wish i could turn back the clock and be 4 years old again and be able to expierence Heighington Primary

Yey i have left Vane Road ...a bit sad though because the teachers there are the best my last teacher was called Mrs.Beattie and Mr.Bruce my year four teacher gave me a present...Now i can play the guitar and sing and i have been to lots of places to preform. Hello Heighington, Its good to see all the happy thoughts of former pupils. I am a former pupil too.Its about 60 years since I left your school. My family farmed at Houghton-le-Side and I walked to and from school each day. Very few people had motorised transport in those days. School days were happy days and I am pleased to see they still are.

Lovely site and nice to see you all doing so well. Jen and Lucy both doing really well at Woodham, Jen in the middle of GCSEs at moment the off to Yarm School 6th Form hopefully, she still wants to be a Doctor, must have been the excellent teaching she received at Heighington. Lucy likes school but loves animals more. Both girls sporty thanks Mr Coates Riding swimming shooting and running in what spare time we have.

I haven't gone to this school in years and it's good seeing the school looking so good!

Love the website. Nathan and Clara attended Heighington for over 2 years and we still miss England and Heighington too. I checked the old site periodically and found this one only recently. We especially love the pictures. Congratulations on Mr. Parker's achievements and all the school improvements. It all looks lovely.
